Terms of Service

Wsla (وصلة, Arabic for "link") is a software-as-a-service platform operated by Maryam, sole proprietor, that lets you create a Wsla profile, share links, and view analytics — a modern link-in-bio service. The platform is available at wsla.to and through related apps, tools, and services (the "Service").

Wsla is a hosting platform for user-generated content. We do not create, control, or endorse user content. Our mission is to give creators, brands, and businesses — especially across the MENA region — a beautiful, bilingual way to share everything with one link.

When we say "Wsla," "we," "us," or "our," we mean the operator of the Service. When we say "you" or "your," we mean the person or entity using the Service.

2.1 Who can use Wsla

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction.
• If you use Wsla on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
• Certain monetization or payment features may require you to be 18 or older.

2.2 Account security

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, including a valid email address.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@wsla.to.
• You may not use bots or scripts to create multiple accounts or scrape the platform.

2.3 Username policy

Your username must be appropriate and must not infringe anyone's rights. You may not register usernames that:

• Impersonate a brand, celebrity, government entity, or individual.
• Infringe trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.
• Are offensive, vulgar, or intended solely for speculative resale.
• Match any reserved system slug used by Wsla (for example help, blog, privacy, terms, admin).

We may reclaim or reassign inactive usernames after 6 months of inactivity.

You agree not to use Wsla to create, upload, or share content that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading in any jurisdiction.
• Contains pornography, sexually explicit material, or nudity.
• Promotes hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or violence.
• Relates to illegal drugs, weapons, gambling, or other harmful activities.
• Contains malware, phishing links, scams, or pyramid schemes.
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior.
• Violates third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or privacy.
• Uses automated collection tools without our written permission.
• Spams, solicits, or advertises in unauthorized ways.

You also agree not to disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, gain unauthorized access to our systems, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

• You may not impersonate any brand, company, government entity, or individual.
• You may not use trademarks, logos, or brand identities in a misleading or unauthorized way.
• You must hold full legal rights to any brand name, logo, or content shown on your Wsla profile.
• Parody and commentary accounts are allowed only if clearly labeled and unlikely to confuse visitors.

If someone is impersonating you or using your trademark without permission, report it through our reporting process or email legal@wsla.to.

Wsla may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

• Remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms.
• Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct.
• Act immediately in cases involving legal risk, safety threats, or court orders.
• Cooperate with law enforcement and regulators as required by law.

We are not obligated to monitor all content proactively, but we may review and moderate content at any time.

If you believe content on Wsla violates your rights or these Terms, you can report it:

Please include as much detail as possible: URLs, descriptions, and supporting documentation. We review reports promptly and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Wsla is a user-generated content platform. You are solely responsible for what you publish on your Wsla profile, including:

• Text, bios, headings, and descriptions.
• Links to external websites, stores, or social platforms.
• Images, videos, logos, and other media you upload.
• Any messages or notifications sent through your profile.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have all necessary rights to the content you upload.
• Your content does not violate any law or third-party right.
• Your content is accurate and not misleading.
• Your content is free from viruses or other harmful code.

Wsla does not review all content proactively and is not liable for user-generated content. Once you or a visitor opens an external link, the destination site is solely responsible for its own content and practices.

You keep full ownership of your content. By using Wsla, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

• Host, store, display, and process your content.
• Adapt your content as needed for technical formatting or platform improvements.
• Use your profile name and public content in promotional materials, such as featured creators.

This license exists solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service. It does not give us ownership of your content. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting support@wsla.to.

Wsla respects intellectual property rights and complies with applicable notice-and-takedown regimes, including the DMCA for U.S. jurisdiction and equivalent processes elsewhere.

• We remove or disable access to content upon a valid, complete infringement complaint.
• In certain legal situations we may suspend access immediately.
• Users may submit counter-notifications where local law allows.
• Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

To file a complaint, email legal@wsla.to with a detailed description of the alleged infringement, including the specific URL and proof of ownership.

10.1 Free and paid plans

Wsla offers a Free plan and optional paid plans (Pro, Premium, and Ultimate). Paid plans add features, analytics, customization, and priority support.

10.2 Subscription terms

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee plus applicable taxes.
• Prices and features may change with reasonable advance notice.
• Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers such as Paddle and PayPal. We do not store full card details on our servers.

10.3 Promotions and trials

Free trials and promotional offers are available at our discretion. When a trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid plan unless you cancel first. Trial eligibility may be limited to new users.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings.
• Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan or is suspended.
• Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date.

If you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through those platforms. We cannot process refunds for in-app subscriptions directly.

Refunds are governed by our refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws. In general:

• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If you cancel a paid plan within 72 hours of the initial purchase, we may issue a refund at our discretion.
• No refunds are provided for partial months or unused features.
• To request a refund, contact support@wsla.to with your account and transaction details.

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, including cookies, analytics, international transfers, and your rights.

By using Wsla, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy. For data protection questions, email privacy@wsla.to.

14.1 Wsla property

All Wsla technology, software, designs, logos, trademarks, and content we provide — excluding user-generated content — belong to Wsla or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

14.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
• Use Wsla trademarks or logos without our prior written consent.
• Frame, mirror, or scrape the Service without authorization.

We work to keep Wsla fast, reliable, and available. However:

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, security concerns, or legal requirements.
• We may release updates that change functionality or appearance.

We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or feature changes, except where prohibited by law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Guarantees of continuous availability, accuracy of analytics, or security of third-party integrations.
• Assurances that the Service will meet your requirements or work on every device.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so these exclusions may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Wsla is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• We are not responsible for loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or reputation.
• Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid Wsla in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have made no payments.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wsla, Maryam, and our affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your content or any activity through your account.
• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Any dispute between you and another user or visitor.

19.1 By you

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Your Wsla profile and content are then removed in line with the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

19.2 By Wsla

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms or any applicable law.
• Your activity creates legal, security, or operational risk.
• We are required to do so by law or court order.
• Your account stays inactive for an extended period.

On termination, all licenses and rights granted to you end immediately. Provisions that should survive termination — such as liability, indemnity, and intellectual property — remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahrain, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

21.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.

21.2 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies referenced here, form the entire agreement between you and Wsla regarding the Service.

21.3 No waiver

Our failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

21.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

21.5 Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, or cyberattacks.

21.6 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, our business, or legal requirements. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
